Karin’s weekly 2-hour drawing classes help kids spark their imagination, build art skills, and grow their confidence — all while connecting with other homeschoolers. Over 8 weeks, children get to enjoy steady progress and share their artistic journey with new friends.
All art supplies are provided for use in class — just bring your enthusiasm! We also encourage practice at home, so kids can keep experimenting and developing their skills between sessions.
Who's it for?
These classes are perfect for kids aged 7 and up, whether they’re just starting out or already love to draw and want to take their skills further. Everyone works at their own pace, with guidance to match their level, from beginners to budding artists.
What we'll cover
Over the term, students will learn fundamental techniques for drawing and painting figures, nature, and everyday objects. Through step-by-step instructions for a variety of illustrations, they will build confidence while exploring different materials such as graphite, chalks, and pastels on paper.
It’s all about building solid foundations while still having fun and expressing creativity.
